Pedernales Falls – Blind Photos

I’m far behind in, well, everything. Here are two photos I took last month of the exterior and interior of the old blind. The stone barrel-shaped thing in the back is the fountain where most of the interesting birds congregate :) Yes, that’s my camera junk on the table.

About as I remember it, though it has been a few years since I’ve been there. Is the the blind with the wooden doors at either end that open up with the netting around them to facilitate photography (i.e. where the bench is next to the opening in image #2)?

Hmm, as a photographer, it would’ve been smart of me to take pictures of the actual photo area. Yes, there are wooden doors at both end. On the left (not pictured) is one large hole (2’x2′ maybe) with a net covering you can move. On the right (photo 2) the door by the bench opens to reveal about 4 small doors (~6″x6″) you can stick your lens through.
