Pedernales Falls – April 4

Nothing of interest today. Just the usual year-round suspects. The hummingbird feeders are out, as are the hummingbirds. The feeder on the right has been moved out so it’s not up against the glass, which makes photography MUCH easier. The flooring in the new blind is down. There’s still some work to be done, but it’s very useable. Quick look through my photos shows that shooting through the glass seems to work ok. There’s also enough light that using an extender is not an issue. Today started out very overcast, and I even drove through some dense fog to get there, but none at the park itself. Some good photos, mostly of sparrows. Our resident orange House Finch is always a nice sight :)
